House training and Comfort

To housetrain a young puppy, we use crates. While your puppy learns house rules, (such as not chew on the furniture), the crate can limit your puppies' access to the rest of the house.

You will need

  • Crate
  • Puppy Pads
  • Puppy Pad holder
  • Exercise pen for your puppy
  • Puppy Bed
  • Puppy Blanket

You will find that your puppy loves to play with toys, especially the squeaky kind! Having a few toys to entertain your puppy is a really good idea!

  • Squeaky toy. Your puppy will find the squeaky toy fascinating.
  • Chewy  toy. Your puppy is teething, and loves to have something to chew on. A chewy toy is a good one to have.
  • Puppy dental chews (cleans their teeth as they chew)

A leash and a collar are an essential part of protecting your dog, and ensuring its safety. However, please do not leave your dog unattended with a leash.

  • Leash: Should be about 4 feet, or small size for your beginning puppy.
  • Collar; should be a small size, it is a good idea to have your puppy wear his/ her collar at all times.
